@ Alan- It's actually greater than this. There are about 160-180,000 employment based visas per year.

Based on the I-485 Q&A, 85% of visas goes to adjustment of status cases. So out of 140,000 per year, 7% per country maximum is 9,800. And 85% of 9,800 is 8330 which goes to I-485 cases. So 8,330 for I-485 per year per country? Comments pls...
